libsunpinyin-dev software package provides Simplified Chinese Input Method from SUN (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsunpinyin-dev
libsunpinyin-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsunpinyin-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsunpinyin-dev *
You will get with libsunpinyin-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
